  • Temperature reading is required for all guests and employees before entering our restaurant. Anyone with a reading above 37.5 degrees celsius will not be permitted to enter.
  • Face masks are required unless sitting at a table
  • Seating capacity has been reduced and tables are placed at least 6 feet apart
  • We have laminated menus which are sterilized often as well as all our menus are available online for your convenience and safety
  • We encourage Mobile Payments such as MPESA, EAZZY PAY, AIRTEL MONEY.

Blue Room's Shift to “Delivery" Service

Beginning Friday 27th March 2020, Blue Room will now shift to a temporary ‘Delivery Only’ service model, in line with the directives from the authorities.

We continue to follow the COVID-19 situation closely and will keep you updated on this page. Our priority remains fixed on the health and well-being of our guests and team members. Moving to this temporary model will allow us to support social distancing while still being able to serve our loyal guests.

Blue Room's Shift to “To-Go" Service

Beginning Monday 23rd March 2020, Blue Room will shift to a temporary ‘To Go’ service model. This will include enhancing take-out and delivery services while closing dining room seating.

We have been following the COVID-19 situation closely and our priority remains fixed on the health and well-being of our guests and team members. Moving to this temporary model will allow us to support social distancing while still being able to serve our loyal guests.

From March 23rd, guests can enjoy Blue Room’s menu in one of the following ways:

BLUE ROOM'S COMMITMENT TO YOU, OUR GUESTS, AS WE NAVIGATE THROUGH CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19)

As it has always been, the safety and security of our guests and team members remains our highest priority. We will inform you of updates on this page.

22nd March 2020 Update

It was just a week ago that we sent out our last message to update you of our enhanced policies, and since then it certainly feels like the world has changed once again. These are uncertain times, but we are encouraged to see Kenyans coming together to follow the measures put in place by our government and public health authorities. Truly, the only way through this situation is to work together as one.

In acting with the guidelines issued by the the National Emergency Response Committee today, we want to let all our valued guests know of an important announcement.

As of March 23rd, we will no longer be offering Dine-in services in our restaurant. This means that our dining room will be completely closed and our restaurant counter will only be open to allow guests to pick-up food/drinks.

Pick-up and Delivery services will still be available up to 9pm for those seeking convenient and food options from Blue Room while they practice social distancing.

Food Delivery & Pickup:

In case you want to avoid contact with our delivery, you can request to leave your package at the door via delivery instructions on purchase. And we will leave your package at the door safely.

If you would like to pick your order, you can either pick up at our counters or call on arrival and the items will be brought to your vehicle.

We take great care in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. As the situation around novel coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to evolve, we have taken additional measures to make our cleaning and hygiene protocols even more rigorous.

Food Handling & Hygiene Protocols

• We continue to follow best practices on handling food packages to ensure safe and hygienic delivery.

• Our team members are receiving ongoing briefings and enhanced operating protocols. We all continue to adhere to best practices in personal hygiene, proper method and frequency of hand washing/ sanitizing.

• We have increased the frequency of cleaning all areas in our restaurant and have continued the use of disinfectant and hand sanitizers.

• We have deployed the use of alcohol based antibacterial hand sanitizers for our guests and team members.

• We are continually monitoring and following advisories on COVID-19 released by the Ministry of Health, and updates on the situation.

Food Delivery & Pickup:

We understand that some of our guests are staying at home or at the office.  Sometimes, it may be difficult to organize meals for your families, co-workers or yourselves. At Blue Room, we have taken additional steps to ensure that you do not have to worry about that. We are able to deliver to your doorstep your favorite bites.
