Usage:
Where
to Use: The gift card can be used to pay for food, beverages, and eligible
items at any participating Blue Room location.
Redemption: Present the physical card at
the time of payment. It cannot be used for remote transactions (like over
the phone or online).
Balance:
If your bill exceeds the card balance, you’ll need to pay the difference with
another payment method. The card can be used multiple times until the balance
is depleted.
Validity:
· Activation:
The card may take up to 24 hours after purchase to activate.
· Expiration:
It remains valid for 12 months from the purchase date. After that, any unused
balance will expire.
Important Notes:
The
card is non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Treat
it like cash; lost or stolen cards will not be replaced.
It
cannot be used to purchase other gift cards or for online orders.
Blue Room Gift Card – Terms & Conditions
Effective Date 1st August, 2025
These terms and conditions (“Terms”) apply to all gift cards issued by Blue Room (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By purchasing, accepting, or using a Blue Room Gift Card (“Card”), you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Usage
The Card may be used to pay for food, beverages, and eligible items at any participating Blue Room location within Kenya.
To redeem, the physical Card must be presented at the time of payment. It cannot be used remotely (e.g., over the phone, WhatsApp, or other messaging platforms).
If your bill exceeds the available card balance, the difference must be paid using an alternative payment method.
The Card can be used multiple times until the full value is depleted.
All transactions must be completed in Kenyan Shillings, and the Card is only valid for use within Kenya.
2. Validity & Activation
Your gift card may take up to 24 hours after purchase to become active in our system. It remains valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
After this period, any unused balance will automatically expire and cannot be refunded, extended, or reactivated.
Once the balance has been fully used, the card cannot be reloaded or reused.
3. Balance Inquiries
You may check the remaining balance on your Card by visiting any Blue Room branch or by contacting customer service through our website www.blueroom.co.ke
4. Non-Refundable & Non-Redeemable for Cash
The Card is non-refundable and may not be exchanged for cash or credit, except where required by applicable law.
No refunds will be provided for unused balances.
5. Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Cards
Treat your Gift Card as you would cash. Blue Room is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged cards, and such cards will not be replaced or refunded. For your security, never share your card number or any images of your card with anyone. Any unauthorized use of the card is the sole responsibility of the cardholder and not Blue Room.
6. Limitations
Cards may not be used to purchase other gift cards.
Blue Room reserves the right to restrict the use of the Card during certain promotional events or blackout periods. Cards cannot be used for online ordering. They can only be used for dine-in or take-out.
7. Fraudulent Activity
We reserve the right to cancel any Card, or refuse a transaction, if we suspect fraud, misuse, or violation of these Terms.
If a card is obtained fraudulently or used in a manner not consistent with these Terms, Blue Room reserves the right to take legal or corrective action.
8. Modifications to Terms
Blue Room may update or amend these Terms at any time without prior notice by posting revised terms at www.blueroom.co.ke. Continued use of the Card after changes are made constitutes acceptance of those changes.
